It was the end of July and things were starting to get a bit crazy. I sent out my wedding invitations and had most of the vendors set up for our wedding day—just over a month away. Admittedly, I started to feel overwhelmed. Since I had been planning everything I started to wonder, would I be the person in charge of making sure everything ran smoothly? I was hoping to enjoy my wedding day, not feel like I needed to be in charge of anything. Just about that time I checked my personal email—an account that I mostly use for junk mail. I happened to stumble across an email from a friend who was changing career paths and decided to become a Wedding Planner!
What made this even better is that Erin wanted to chat about her business and see if I had any thoughts on how she might launch her brand. I got the behind-the-scenes look at how Erin would be running her business by working with her on my actual wedding day and the month leading up to it. She made the day run smoothly and allowed me to feel like “a guest at my own wedding.” I wanted to ensure that her website had that same approachable, friendly and organized feel. My goal is always to capture the essence of the business in order to successfully portray that in the brand materials. The time we spent together getting to know one another’s business was key in the success of our collaborations. It really helped make the process of designing her logo and website more seamless. I’m excited to announce that we launched Laurel Wedding Co.’s site just this past week! Click here to check it out.
