Rhythmic Renewal: A Sound & Art Immersion at the Glasshouse

Experience the calming blend of live sound and intuitive watercolor painting, surrounded by the beauty of the Glasshouse overlooking Marsh Creek. This women’s retreat is designed to help you step away from the hustle of life, find clarity, and nourish your soul with relaxing sound immersion, naturally flowing art expression, an organic, healthy dinner, and the restorative power of nature. All levels welcome!

Three Ways to Join:

Workshop-Only Guests:

A one-evening immersive experience lasting approximately 4 hours, featuring a guided art workshop with an immersive live soundscape. Enjoy the natural flow of creating art with gentle, optional guidance and a rich auditory experience. This experience will be followed by a catered organic dinner in the Glasshouse. Art supplies are provided and then yours to take home and enjoy!

The Glasshouse at the Great Marsh

This architectural treasure, designed by students of Frank Lloyd Wright, is perched in the heart of Chester County’s Great Marsh. Surrounded by 600 acres of trails, marshes, and quiet places to reflect, the recently renovated Glasshouse features floor-to-ceiling windows that immerse guests in the beauty of the natural world.

  • A 4-hour creative workshop interweaving sound immersion and intuitive watercolor painting.

  • Two nights at the Glasshouse, with access to its beautiful amenities and tranquil surroundings.
  • All catered, organic meals included:
    • Dinner on arrival night.
    • Breakfast, light lunch, and dinner (including an art and sound-focused event) on Day 2.
    • Breakfast on Day 3.
  • Access to all retreat activities, including sound immersion, intuitive painting, and highlights throughout the weekend (to be determined).
  • Free time to explore the 600-acre property for hiking, birdwatching, or quiet reflection.
  • Morning yoga sessions and a plein air painting workshop (scheduled for either Friday evening or Saturday morning before departure, final details to be determined).

Tentative Schedule

Day 1:

Friday – Arrival & Welcome

Afternoon: Check-in for overnight guests, time to explore the property, and settle in.

Evening: Dinner with hosts and introductions in the Glasshouse dining room.

Optional: Yoga Nidra deep grounding meditation.

Day 2:

Saturday – Creative Immersion

Morning: Grounding yoga practice, healthy breakfast, followed by optional outdoor exploration or free time.

Afternoon: Light lunch and personal reflection time.

Evening: Workshop and art-focused event, blending sound immersion and intuitive painting, followed by a healthy dinner.

Day 3:

Sunday – Farewell

Morning: Grounding yoga practice, breakfast, optional plein air painting, closing reflections, and time to enjoy the Glasshouse.

Late Morning: Departure.

Jen Ryan, White Wave Restorations

Jen is a holistic sound practitioner with a deep understanding of how rhythm and vibration impact the nervous system and overall well-being. Her work focuses on using sound to restore balance, reduce stress, and cultivate mindfulness. With a background supporting people in both Western medicine as a registered nurse and holistic modalities such as sound, craniosacral therapy, and yoga, she brings a grounded and transformative approach to this retreat, helping participants connect to themselves through the power of sound.

Cynthia is an artist, designer, and creative entrepreneur with a passion for storytelling through visual mediums. With 20 years of experience in branding, illustration, and surface pattern design, her work is deeply inspired by nature, nostalgia, and personal connection. She believes in the power of creativity and nature as a tool for healing and self-discovery and is thrilled to co-host this retreat in a space that fosters both.
