When it came time to decorate Leona’s nursery I wanted it to be vibrant and to exemplify all that I loved about the summer during my childhood. She was due to arrive at the end of July. So I set out to decorate her room with a mix of animals, wildflowers, and peaches. I actually had a lot of trouble finding patterns that I liked so I stuck with mostly plain items and decorated the room with artwork, antiques, floral elements, and fun rugs. Then I painted the walls with two tones of different peach colors. This collection is an effort to create the patterns I was searching for when setting up her room.
