The Commission Process – What’s Included in Your Custom Artwork
Onboarding Call:
We’ll meet to define the scope and direction for your piece—along with any references, symbolism, or inspiration you’d like me to incorporate.
Sketches + Revisions:
You’ll receive initial pencil or ink sketches to review, with up to two or three rounds of revision based on your feedback.
Final Painting:
Once the sketch is approved, I’ll bring your concept to life using hand-painted watercolor or ink on paper as original art.
Delivery of Final Files:
You’ll receive high-res, print-ready files formatted for your intended use—along with clear licensing terms based on the scope of our original agreement.

Cynthia Oswald is a multidisciplinary artist and designer based in Phoenixville, PA, creating hand-painted botanical artwork that blends natural beauty with intentional storytelling. Her work is inspired by a lifelong connection to nature, shaped by childhood adventures on a small horse farm and years of exploring the rhythms of the natural world.
With a background in fine art and an MFA in Communication Design, Cynthia brings over 20 years of creative experience to her work—ranging from fine art and surface pattern design to packaging and branding. Her illustrations are rooted in biophilic principles, designed to evoke calm, connection, and presence. Cynthia’s work has been featured in Where Women Create, UPPERCASE Magazine, and exhibitions across the U.S.
